The Fremont School District is excited to announce that our physical education and wellness educator, Hannah Kimball, has been selected by the New Hampshire Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance as the recipient of the 2025 Middle School Physical Education Teacher of the Year.
Hannah will be honored at the banquet during the 2025 NHAHPERD Conference on November 6, 2025.
As Ellis School’s K-8 Physical Education Teacher since 2014, Hannah has dedicated an immense amount of passion and time to our school and district. She also serves as one of the district’s athletic directors and coaches a number of Ellis School sports, such as soccer and track. Among many other accomplishments, she has created a standards-aligned physical education and health curriculum, designed engaging and innovative learning activities, such as the skateboarding program, and created a successful and lucrative Pie-in-the-Face fundraiser for the Kids Heart Challenge.
Hannah is recognized as the Middle School Physical Education Teacher of the Year for her community engagement efforts, her collaboration with colleagues in settings like Drums Alive and Ellis School’s Champion’s Club, which she co-teaches with the school’s physical therapist, Bethany Layne, and her gift for connecting with all students but especially middle schoolers.
Ellis School Principal Delaney Rosenberg, who nominated Hannah, had this to say about her: “Hannah is one of the most dedicated teachers I have ever worked with. She is committed to the Ellis School community and goes out of her way to make every child feel included and cared for. Additionally, her excitement and passion for everything she does is contagious, and her students and colleagues feed off of this...Hannah is an incredible educator for all of our students, but she has a special gift for teaching and engaging with middle schoolers in particular.”
“Hannah is an incredibly dedicated educator who puts the needs of her Ellis School students at the center,” said Superintendent Brian M. Stack. “She has incredible energy and passion for what she does, and this makes her an invaluable asset to our school and district.”
The Fremont School Board also expresses their sincerest appreciation and gratitude to Hannah for being such a dedicated employee. Hannah is a prime example of what Ellis School is all about.
Please join us in congratulating Hannah on this much-deserved honor!

Ellis School would like to wish our community a Happy Grandparents Day! We are so fortunate to be able to collaborate with a number of dedicated grandparents, and we want to let you know how much we appreciate you on this day and every day!

Don't forget to sign up for the Robotics Team if you are interested in joining our competitive team this year!

We would like to extend a huge thank you to the New Hampshire ATV Club for their generous donation of $1,000 in school supplies. We appreciate your support of and dedication to our learners!

Thanks to last year's Title II funding, we were able to take our district and school staff to Adventurelore yesterday for community and relationship-building. As part of our schoolwide commitment to promoting a positive culture and a restorative school environment, we prioritize spending time together as a staff so that we can model teamwork and positive relationships for our students. We had an absolute blast taking on team challenges together, getting soaked in the rain, and completing a final race involving mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, running, and more!
