PRACTICES RUN FROM 2:30 TO 4PM.  STUDENTS NEED TO BE PICKED UP PROMPTLY OR A CAR POOL NEEDS TO BE ARRANGED. 

THE TIMES ON THE FIELD TRIP FORMS ARE FOR GAME/MEET DAYS.  THEY ARE LISTED AS LATER TIMES TO ACCOMODATE ANY GAME/MEET DAYS THAT RUN LATE, OR ARE A FURTHER BUS TRIP.  PLEASE NOTE:  OUR SCHOOL SPORTS DO NOT RUN UNTIL 6PM OR 8PM EVERY DAY!

MIDDLE SCHOOL CLASS SCHEDULES:

Grades 5 through 8 will follow the rotating daily number schedule.

MIDDLE SCHOOL EXPECTATIONS

BE PREPARED:  Sneakers, windpants, sweatpants or shorts, change of shirt

BE RESPONSIBLE: Try your hardest every class

                            Be in class (attendance)

                            Use good sportsmanship

BE RESPECTFUL:  To yourself- give yourself positive messages!

                          To Others - use kind words and encouragement

                           To Equipment- use it for it's intended purpose, put it away when you're

                           done with it.

Badminton Activities

We are currently working on a fitness plan for each student based on their individual interests.  We will be learning about total body fitness as well as developing the necessary strength and power to accomodate their particular activity interests.  We are also working on badminton skills and lead up type games.  This will culminate in our annual middle school badminton tournament!

1.  FOR SAFETY, PLEASE SEND YOUR CHILD TO SCHOOL WITH ATHLETIC TYPE SNEAKERS ON P.E. DAY.

 

Elementary Activities

Kindergarten:  We are currently working on a unit that uses balls in a wide variety of activities.  We are also working on bowling skills.  Students are learning how to bowl using ten pin balls and pins.  We are also working on social skills related to physical activity...sharing, taking turns and working together.

First and Second Grade:  First and Second grade is beginning a unit in basic badminton skills and lead up games.  This is the start of a unit on striking with long handled implements.

Third and Fourth Grade:  We are currently working on badminton skills (striking with long handled implements).  We will be playing singles and doubles and also King of the Court.
