Hello again from DC. We began our day at Arlington National Cemetary and observed The Changing of the Guards at the Tomb of the Unknown. From there we went to the Air and Space Museum and then the Natural History Museums. Both are part of the Smithsonian Institute and are right off the Mall. We then took a quick pit stop to buy some souveniers/t-shirts. Lastly, we went back to the hotel to get cleaned up and then headed for The Spirit of Washington cruise ship. The evening was filled with dinner and dancing and meeting kids from all over the country. Many kids claimed to want to try to "stay up all night" tonight, but I suspect that most are WAY too tired to pull that off. No matter how much fun we have had, I suspect that many are longing for home....
