I hope everyone reads each night for at least 20 minutes. Please look for the star words in your reading at night and let your child read those to you. There is a reading chart that needs to filled out by parents.
Star words for the week are: breakfast, ready
All math facts should be learned. We will have ongoing math quizes to assess knowledge of the facts.
Student of the week is continuing. This child will lead the class in the pledge and in the Wilson Word Study. The other students will learn about this child during the whole group activity called Whole Tribe. Each child will have a turn at being the student of the week. During his or her week students can bring in something to show to the whole class.
Spelling Words are: need, keep, tea, leaf, beast, raid, too, son, head, weather, and the bonus for this week is Mt. Monroe.
